Before ChiangMai was part of Thailand long ago, that area was called Lanna Kingdom. It was a difficult place and its population suffers much. Out of compassion, a learned Teacher, Luang Pu Ariya advised his lay disciples to built the statue of Phra Thanabodhi Setthi Navakot to help over their difficulties. After completing the statue, puthaphisek ceremony was arranged to invite Phra Thanabodhi Setthi Navakot to come and receive great offerings of the lay disciples. During the consrecation ceremony, many amazing occurences struck throughout the puthaphisek chanting. Lay disciples were afraid as they haven’t seen such occurences in their life before. However when the puthaphisek was over everything was back to normal. Believe it or not the lives of the lay disciples started changing for the better. After much extraordinary that have happened to the lay diciples, they asked of Luang Pu Ariya how did such a strange 9 faced Thevada came about and why is it so saksit ( responsive ).
Actually Phra Thanabodhi Setthi Navakot comprises of the 9 rich merchants whom have taken refuge under Lord Buddha. During Lord Buddha’s lifetime, these 9 merchants have supported Buddha’s mission in building the Sanghas and spreading the Dhamma. Therefore they have achieved and entered the realm of Ariyas, levels below of Arahantship. Inviting and revering to him sincerely we hope he can bestow us the bountiful boon and wealth they have accumulated in their previous lifetimes. The 9 of them are:

Master explains that there should be a deeper understanding and analysis of how earth, soil and gemstones could affect all living beings and organism. Many people have misunderstood that gemstones in amulets are only for beatifying purposes. That is why many other masters have replaced them with glass or plastics in today’s amulets makings.
Master has explained that gemstones have an effect on living beings and organisms on a subtle but yet powerful effect on the cellular level when used in the right way. Gemstones are also thought to be “alive” and have a certain form of “spiritual intelligence”. On the cellular level, you will see that gemstones are in perfect sacred geometry. These sacred geometries are in sync with the universe and our body. According to master, gemstones when combined with certain metals will create and emits powerful energies and could hold memories or even induce a state of mind to people around.
